Default Carbon Fiber Glue?

I've been using ZAP CA to glue carbon fiber to plastic. Seems to work ok.

Will CA bond carbon fiber to carbon fiber ok?

Thanks.

Eric

It should bond absolutley fine. the only thing to be aware of is that CA is relatively brittle compared to carbon fibre. So if it is going to be in a area where the carbon flexs, then make sure you reinforce the joint. (large surface area to be glued, etc etc.)

Or use a more flexible glue like a slow setting epoxy.

Hope this helps,

Andy
