Default Lipo Battery and Charger

Hi all,
I am wondering which LiPo Battery would be best for a Picollo ECO with the PicoBoard Plus/Receiver combo and a G310 Motor? I have seen 2 Cell 7.4V, 1200 mAh and 2 Cell 7.4 1500 mah, and some people run 3 cells... A little confusing.

Also,
Since I dont want to break the bank, who makes the most affordable Lipo Charger here in the US?

Thanks in advance!

depends what sort of setup you want to aim for:
- light weight economic hovering with occasional mild outdoor flights <250g.
- heavier better powered all round heli >250g

1500mah are a bit too heavy for a piccolo really.
2x1200mah cells would be the easiest way forward for you.

Installing 3x1200 cells would involve upgrading the tail motor for higher voltages (eg. direct drive/carbon brushed motor) and cut/change blades for low pitch, re-gearing to suit (gearing so that the heli won't escape GE at 9v cell minimum damaging the cells). A lot more things to consider. All these mods will dramatically transform and improve the way the heli fly's, particularly if you want some outdoor action .

Charger? I've got one of the early cheap 12-24v one's, seems ok.

Thanks, I am going to order two 2 cell 1200mah batteries, and I just realized that my MRC Superbrain 969 will do LiPo!
