Wiring problem is solved, now it's flight time. I feel already a need for some "tuning". I don't like the way swashplate is fixed. Vertically and horizontally it travels few millimetres, I don't think that big helicopters have the same, I am not a specialist but I think swashplate must be fixed on the axe somehow. I found a sort of ball inserts on the Net but they don't seem to be fixed on axe, is this modification better?
http://www.pgoelz.com/piccolo_swashp...ications1.html Will it give more control? Sorry if you have to answer similar things every day but I want to know why swashplate is fixed this way and how to make it better. |

if you want to maintain a fixed hight swash then get a Delrin CNC link to replace the small plastic one. It fits on BOTH sides of the swash and keeps it level. I'd go for a ball at the same time as that improves accuracy, and while you have it apart....

Does it have to be fixed? Maybe springs from both sides are better? Had no chance to try it on the real one, does it move?

yes and no. It doesn't HAVE to be, but if the swash can move up and down as it's only held by one side, it introduces tracking issues for starters. The double sided CNC link is about the only mod I would recommend every newbie have - it will save many tears and tantrums
