Can't say I've ever had a servo connection come loose on me in normal flying. How would these interface to the rx? The only inline connection I have is between the gyro and tail servo. These would be excellent for larger glow planks though.. keep the engine vibes from working the wing servo connectors loose!

Your right there. It's really for planks.

In terms of the RX then you will have to use standard connectors.

Looks like this will only stay an idea as the UK distributors are asking 50p per housing & 10p per pin

Dont understand why cus the plugs are seen on a CD-ROM audio cable. So off the shelf and sold in the millions!

I had a futaba extention cable come loose on the VE so this is an excellent fix to this sort of problem.

There are now 2 or 3 other things that have come onto the market to do the same thing but as an add on , not integral to the plug/socket

Yes i know, I've seen one.

One is a replacement to the female outer housing. It has a lip that clips on to the back of the male.

It's all horses for courses, i guess

It is actually a very good idea. With glow fuel powered models (both planks and helis) I like to tie the plugs together with dental floss. So the clip will work perfectly as a safe guard.

I don't care how much it cost because no matter what the price if the clip will prevent just one crash it is worth it's weight in gold.

The large scale plank guys should welcome the clip.
