Default Head Gobble

Still experiencing head gobble in this little turkey (gobble gobble). Took the head apart and noticed that I have two bearings on one side but only one on the other. Found bits and pieces of what was the other bearing. I’m also wondering if something in the head should be keeping these bearings in place? While replacing the paddle shaft, they slid right out. Anyway, it still flies but I’m looking for head replacement ideas.

For those of you that observe November 25th, Happy Thanksgiving! For those that don’t, Happy Friday eve!

What if you don't celebrate Thanksgiving or Friday Eve?!!

bits of broken bearing can't be a good sign!!! I would vote for a new set of bearings...

Also, have you double checked that the mainshaft is perfectly straight? This could be the cause of wobbles.

I didnt find the bearings that could be purchased by themselves on the helihobby site. I'll check again later. Yes, it is a new shaft.

Thanks BA

do you know the size of the bearings, you best bet is to get them elsewhere, HeliHobby stuff is normally of inferior quality.

over here I use Model-fixings.co.uk I think state side you need to use Boca Bearings.

Trying to figure out the dimensions now and will order a handful. I still don’t know how these bearings are supposed to be held in place. Right now the only thing holding them in the head is the flybar levers. If that is correct it’s not a great design. I might add a couple washers or even a skinny shaft collar. Thanks!

so am I right in thinking the bearings you are on about go in the blade grip?

They are held in by the bolt that attaches the grips to the head, or are there other bearings in there?

The bearings that I'm talking about are in the head. There are two on each side (except on mine). The flybar shaft goes through them.
