I've done a web search and come up with this information:-
Technical data: Operating voltage: 4 - 12V Rated voltage: 7,2V Idle current: 1.25 A Idling speed: 17.600 Best efficiency: 71 % River with max. Efficiency: 10.2 A Blocking current: 84 A Dimensions mm: 36x65 Motor shaft: 3.17 mm Weight: 202 g The idle speed and idle current I believe is the no load speed and current, so I would say you need to try around the 14, 15, 16 area. I don't know anything about the motor other than the info I've found. It may not have sufficient overall power for the ECO 8, I just don't know. |

thanks for the details BUZZ
May be I think It is a little bit less powerful than the Hurricane motor (used in UK) : ------------ Hurricane 650 Race Motor 21000 rpm FREE RUNNING ON 8 CELLS : 15 – 18 AMPS ON LOAD : 100 AMPS STALL. INCORPORATES INTERNAL IMPELLER FAN FOR MAXIMUM COOLING & EFFICIENCY. DYNAMICALLY BALANCED ARMATURE & TRUED COMMUTATOR FOR TURBINE LIKE RUNNING. ----------------------------- I'll have a try next weekend with a 14 T at first to see if that's enought. Thanks again Regards, KRP |

If it's less powerful than the Hurricane, it won't be much good on the ECO. Hurricanes do fly the ECO, but they don't light up the sky unless you use 10 cells.

Ok so I'll buy a 10 cells as soon as possible to do some test. I've just see that german also use 10 cells for the Venti.
Thanks Buzz Have fun with your eco Regards KRP |
