Default Shock stock motor diode connection

I have 3 diodes and some distructions but still not sure exactly how to connect them to the motor. I think one goes between the postive and negative terminals on the back of the motor. Someone has to have done this at least once.

Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about a diode or capacitors. Typically you use 3 caps, one across the two terminals and one across each terminal to the side of the motor can. That is usually enough noise suppression. You can put a diode across the terminals tho if you're so inclined.

I stand corrected. They are capacitors and I have done as you said and others have now told me. I soldered one from each terminal to the motor one between the terminals. It seems to work great.

Thanks
