CP FFF in wind

Anyone else gotten into the downwind turn translational lift trap? I have had two instances where a turn from upwind to downwind caused enough loss of translational lift that the heli almost hit the deck before I could get on the collective and stop the descent. I think you need to anticipate it a LOT more than on a larger heli.

Hi paul, didn't see you at the yard last night, but it was like helicopter night there. There were 2 Piccolos, Tim's kyosho ep concept (which he got flying) and that guy that owns little house of models had a JR Voyager. The JR was very impressive, looked very stable.
Just thought I'd share.

yep i seen it paul,almost got me once yesterday.it felt funny to have to move the stick so far uo to recover but still felt in control.next time round i was ready for it and no probs.

I really wanted to go to the Yard but had a music commitment that interfered. I should be able to make the Dec. 8th date, though. You gotta see this thing fly!
