Through the IKARUS e-Shop on the Internet I ordered, and paid for, a copy of Aerofly Professional Deluxe on the 17th March 2008. It is now 19th May 2008 and I still have not yet received my copy of the software. Have any other forum members experienced such problems in obtaining their flight simulator software?

Yes I had the same. I placed my order on the 27th of April ad got the same info that the software was back ordered a few times. For an additional $60, I beleave it was, I bought the usb transmiter too which they had in stock and got my total package in a few days. I like this better than haveing to use my own transmitter. This one is powered by the computer through the usb cable. The other way I would have to use my own transmitter which is battery opperated. I just like this set up better.

Oh By the way I got mine through Hobby Lobby. I am still loading the software and having a little problem getting the sofware to take. I am sure this is my issue.

An update to my earlier message is that it is now 17th June 2008 and I have still not yet received my copy of Aerofly Professional Deluxe that I ordered (and paid for) on 13th March 2008 - more than 3 months! Perhaps I should have ordered it from an American outlet and not directly from Ikarus in Germany. I can easily (and quickly) get aeromodelling items sent here to Spain from the U.S.A. but the German postal service has been defeated in sending me my copy of APD.

The final update to the saga of waiting more than 3 months to get my copy of APD is that it has now arrived. I mistakenly blamed the postal services for the delay but have now found out that the fault lay with a parcel service named DPD. I live in the country in Southern Spain and it has been my experience that parcel services do not try too hard to find properties that are not in towns or cities. Three times my APD package was returned to Ikarus. Finally it was sent by Deutsche Post and has arrived here safely. The program works well with the USB interface and my Sanwa transmitter and I am truly impressed by the performance and definition of the planes and scenery.
