Does anyone use the "2x2mm wheel collars on the flybar" mod and if so why ?
Does it help control the heli, how ? Is it noticeable ? Regards, Born2net. ------------------ Visit my Micro-Heli site: http://www.netpackx.com/piccolo/index.shtml |

I used to use the flybar collar mod. It allows the piccolo to hover alot more steady by slowing down how fast the flybar tilts and in turn giving you a much slower cyclic response. The cyclic response will feel a little more sluggish, but will prevent the piccolo from wandering around as much. Great for those who are learning to hover. Start out with the collars on the ends of the flybar, and as you progress in your hovering skills move them in a little further each time, until you get to the point where they can move in no further, at this point you just get rid of them.

I see. If thats all they do then I guess I don't need them since
I can hover well now. I am now on a "flight time increase" quest and if it won't help the duration then its not for mee Thanks again, regards, Born2net. ------------------ Visit my Micro-Heli site: http://www.netpackx.com/piccolo/index.shtml [This message has been edited by born2net (edited 12-06-2001).] |
