Your light skids -J

I open an old box and found 2 of J's lite skids.
I will take a metal hanget and cut me for pieces to connect the skids to the main plate.
The questions are:
1. How to glue the metal hanger to the main plate. (I will solder the other side to the skid)
2. Won't it shift the point of break (in case of a crash from the skid to other part of the heli?
