I just purchased and finished putting together the JR Voyager E last night. I have to install all the electronics now.
It is a very well made heli. I was very impressed with the quality of the kit. It was extremely easy to put together, as long as you follow the instructions. The hardest part of the whole thing was cuitting the canopy. It is made of very durable plastic. I have not flown it yet but from what I have read, it has gotten really good reviews. Here is a link I found about the Voyager E... http://www.jason.net./voyagere.htm It has some good information. I purchased mine from www.HeliProz.com They were very helpful and they have a deal going that you can get a Futaba GY240 gyro for $100, it is normally $140, with the purchase of the Voyager E. I was considering the ECO 8 too when I was loooking for something bigger in electric. But I am happy I went with the Voyager E. Plus the replacement parts aren't too bad in price. I don't know if it has as many upgrades as the ECO 8 but you can find the upgrades at the HeliProz website. Hope this helps and good luck. |

I have seen two Voyagers fly.... one brushless with a governor and one stock with a brushed motor. The brushless beat the pants off the brushed motor, but is WAY expensive.
The Voyager is a very impressive flyer. ------------------ Paul Goelz pgoelz (at) eaglequest (dot) com AF010 brushless motor, 8 cell NiMh, collective pitch modification Visit my: Piccolo web page Troubleshooting guide Collective pitch Piccolo page (flybarless) Collective pitch Piccolo page (Ikarus version) Brushless motor conversion |
