It's really late, but I've just had my first
flight with J's aluminium CP head. I've got to tell you it's awesome, you've all seen the pictures, but it flies even better then it looks. I had complained that the initial cyclic response ( ie when hovering ) was not as good as std FP with tuning blades. The Ikarus CP heads that I've seen are all warped in some way, either blade grips or flybar or both like mine. J's head spools up really smooth and the hover response is slight and relaxed although you have to watch if it starts to wander. I already have +15 exponential on my cyclics for CP and now have 30% and was slinging the pic from one corner of the living room to the next, the response in all aspects( other than tail ) is just like my shuttle just10 times faster. Can't wait to try it outside. Well done J, and the holes for the 4mm bearings were perfect. As the holes in the lightweight version of the head only support top and bottom I was worried they would be too tight and make the bearings rough, but they were perfect, just snapped straight in. It looks bloody good too. Thankyou man,..............Allan ------------------ CP Airwolf- using Astro flight 010 brushless motor, Schulze 18be esc, GWS PG 03 gyro, GWS 6ch micro Rx, GWS ICS50 tail esc, flybar bearings.
