okay, I just ordered all of my piccolo stuff from Hobby Lobby, except they did not have the transmitter and the piccoboard in stock. i have searched everywhere and cannot find a place with a piccoboard in stock. if someone could give me a link to an online store that sells piccoboards, it would be appreciated. also, i tried dreamhobbies and they are out of stock. Also, if later on i want to upgeade and modify my piccolo, and also if I want to later on buy an ECO 16, what would the best transmitter be? I can spend up to 300 dollars on a transmitter.
so what I need to buy is: Transmitter Receiver Piccoboard Servos (what kind should i buy?) Please help me out with this! Thanks a lot! [ 23 April 2002, 21:46: Message edited by: Accord ] |

Accord:
It is my opinion that you should get a Futaba 8U series transmitter( or 9 series), and JMP H9 controller, with Hitec 50 servos and a Berg6 or Berg5 DSP. Hope this helps. Drew [ 02 May 2002, 23:15: Message edited by: Drew5252 ] |

Careful with that JMP receiver if you ever plan on flying around other transmitters. I do not think it is full range and fully narrowband. But I am not real familliar with it, so check it out carefully.
You might want to look at the BErg receiver from RC-Direct. Small, and fully narrowband. |
