I would like to get rid of that mechanical mixing system and get a heli radio, but I here most radios are 120 degree mixing, And the eco is only 90, Where can I get a 120 degree swash plate or a radio that can preform 90 degree. I would really like to keep it cheap though

Check the Multiplex Europa or Profi radios. The better ones have 90 degrees CCPM mixing, in fact they have any degree of CCPM mixing with any number of servos. You can program any mixing you can think of and then some. Maybe the cheaper Multiplex Cockpit model has this as well.

JR/Horizon (in the US) is updating my old 347 with CCPM! They said they would enable it for FREE!
I think most systems offer 60 & 90 degree ccpm. |

Don't go with 90 deg ccpm definetly go with 120 deg. it's more effecient and ultilizes three servos for pitch and two servos for roll....90deg only uses one servo for pitch...very week system! Get computer radio and buy upgraded swashplate 120deg.

Hold on a minute, 90 degree CCPM mixing uses all THREE servo's in the pitch, the only lack of power is in the fore/aft Cyclic control (only one), but still has the two in the roll Cyclic.
I have used the 90 degree CCPM mixing on my JR3810 for over a year now without any signs of the servo's (bog standard) struggling or any signs of 'bad' flight characteristics. If you want to keep it cheep, keep the original swash (I'd rather go with the ally head first, then swash second if I had the money to 'throw' at it) |
