durability/flame out

Just added 3 new parts to my Eco 8, boom supports, auto bearing, rear tail mount.

I was out on Sunday setting up the tail and I just happened to put my training gear on to help with final adjustments. I started low fig 8's and noticed glitching every now and then. Did a bit of nose in then started to fly a bit higher, Well hovering on the side at around 10 feet up when all of a suddern the bird makes an almighty rush and straight in to the ground. No damage just a few links popped off and the flybar carrier came off its mountings. Quick assembly and new battery just about to take off and the whole thing cuts out? I found a dry joint on the the main power into the controler which accounts for the glitching.
I was impressed that nothing was bent or damaged not even a boom strike from this height. The bird lives to tell another tail.
