Default MS Hornet Blades on my Pic?

Ok fellas, My MS carbon blades arrived today obviously I am running the orion and 8 tooth pinion and every other mod under the sun (someone say this was an addiction?) is there a PA? Piccolo anonymous? I need help..... But seriously, can someone tell me exactly what I have to do to install these blades on my Piccolo as far as modifying them?

yeah, i'm curious too. what modification have to be done to get this blade working. do you have to drill holes, ream holes, cut tabs. its the head speed that dangerous for indoor flying?

Well I dont think its the head speed thats a danger but the fact that the Carbon blades are much stronger (less flex) than the stock although they will break much quicker than stock they will also do much more damage to what ever they may come in contact with like your body parts and i am sure that anyone can tell you that at 1700 rpm stockers hurt like hell, I wouldnt want to find out what 2000rpm carbon blades feel like, I am running 700mm V-Blades on my Millenium and my head speed is around 1900- 2000 and as far as i am concerned its a flying ginsu! To install my MS composite carbon FP blades, I simply ran a 4-40 screw through a washer, through the standard hole in the blades, through two more washers <for clearance> and then down through the top of the 4-40 holes in my rotor head. No further modifications. Yes, thats right, I mounted the blades on top of the rotorhead w/o serious modification to eithor part. I haven't flown this way long, just last night, but i don't see why it shouldn't work.

Initially I used washers to support the blades. When I determined that I was never going to use the Ikarus blades anymore (5 minutes later!), I cut the mounting bushings off the head... (Pics on my Piccolo page...)

Ok guys now did you leave the pitch alone? because i can tell that i am getting head speed nowhere near hangtimes! should i take some pitch out of them and if so how do i do it? and also hangtime if you read this did you add any weight to them because they feel no heavier than the stockers?

HOVERIT........
I'll try to give you the low down

I drilled out the holes to fit over the hubs like the stockers. Don't make the same mistake I did, start out a LITTLE bigger than the hole, and step up about 3 sizes till they fit. If you try to do it in one wack they will break.

I didn't change the pitch at all. I was thinking about adding more pitch because it wasn't flying on 7 cells. So I took apart 2 7-cell packs and made 1 8-cell pack (and one worthless 6 cell pack) it flew so well and so long with the 8 cell (only 250mah) that I left the pitch alone, it's just a headache messing with it anyways.

I don't know why mine sounds like it does. The speed is the same as others because that's what physics says, but for some reason it sounds like a turbin motor .

It was louder, the main gear makes a lot of noise, but I took it off and made it perfectly strait so the blades could freely spin with the orion (acts like a 1 way) and now it doesn't make ANY sound when the blades are spinning down.

1 thing I would suggest hoverit. My good friend chris/HITYOURSELF told me an anctient chinese way..... wrap 6" of soldier around the flybars, and it pushes weight out and greatly increases stability.

Well all I can say is WOW they make such a big differance its not even funny guess my next step is the alum swash and that should have it flying exactly the way I think it should and hangtime yes yours sure sounds like the head speed is way up there maybe its just an accoustic thing with the camera mic! I can tell you this with a fresh 750 NIMH pack she hovers at slightly less than 1/2 throttle, id like it to be more like 3/4 but i actually dialed in less pitch and it didnt like it so i will keep it right were its at.
Thanks for the help guys, hangtime I still would like to know what you meant about black rubber bands.
